A new Guinness World Record has been set by an electric car in Germany, this electric car can go from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in just 1.461 seconds. It has broken the previous world record of 1.513 seconds.

This electric car is made by a team of German students from the University of Stuttgart. They are a group of 20 students who broke the previous record on Friday, September 23, 2022. They built this electric vehicle, which is a racing car, by themselves.

This team of students from the University of Stuttgart is known as GreenTeam, which has broken several world records. They broke a world record for the first time in 2012 with their car whose acceleration time was 2.681 seconds and then in 2015.

In the past, they had to face some setbacks as well. One of the major setbacks that they had to face was when their electric vehicle got crashed into a stack of tires at a very high speed. After repairing everything, they had to encounter another unexpected shock as they got some technical issues the evening before attempting to make a new world record.
