With a natural talent for marketing, strong presentation abilities, and a keen sense for business development, I embarked on a distinctive journey. Despite lacking prior experience in healthcare, I ventured into the field with Krsnaa Diagnostics, a novel opportunity that didn’t require financial backing.
Krsnaa Diagnostics, founded by Chairman Mr. Rajendra Mutha in December 2010, commenced its journey with just two centers in rural Maharashtra. Recognizing its potential for growth and impact, I partnered with Mr. Mutha to steer the company towards greater success.
Leveraging my strengths in marketing and business development, we propelled Krsnaa Diagnostics to unprecedented heights, expanding its reach to encompass over 3000 centers nationwide. My adeptness in presentations, linguistic versatility, and adaptability were instrumental in navigating the challenges and seizing opportunities along the way.
Under Mr. Mutha’s guidance, I had the liberty to explore and implement innovative ideas, contributing to the evolution of Krsnaa Diagnostics. Together, we sculpted the trajectory of the organization, transforming it into a leading player in the healthcare sector.
During your entrepreneurial journey, did you ever consider giving up? Where did you get the drive to continue even though things were so hard?
During my entrepreneurial journey, there were undoubtedly moments when giving up seemed like the easiest option. However, it was the unwavering drive to make a difference and achieve my vision that kept me going, even when faced with adversity. The passion for the cause, coupled with the support of my team and mentors, fuelled my determination to persevere through the toughest times and ultimately succeed.

How do you see the testing patterns evolving in India, if we compare the pre and post-COVID-19 phases?
COVID has changed a lot of patterns in our life, more introspection on health, more focus on digitisation, testing patterns could not be left far behind. Pre – Covid the focus was on reactive testing, to test when ill. Now the focus is on Proactive testing, testing not to get ill. This has translated to more health check-ups amongst the population. The other conscious shift that has happened is more home visits for sample collection and acceptance towards digital modes of service (appointment booking and report acceptance)
How crucial is the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model for the testing needs of people in India?
Public-private partnerships (PPPs) are crucial for meeting the testing needs of people in India. With successful implementations in various sectors like infrastructure and education, PPPs leverage the strengths of both public and private sectors to enhance service delivery. In healthcare, PPPs can make services more accessible and ensure standard-quality facilities, addressing issues like fund crunch and resource allocation. Do we need to promote the term Women Empowerment specifically? If yes, then why?
Promoting the term “Women Empowerment” is essential for fostering the holistic development of society. Empowering women involves providing them with the necessary skills, resources, and opportunities to participate equally in various sectors, enabling them to control and benefit from their earnings. This not only enhances individual well-being but also contributes to overall societal progress.
By promoting women empowerment, we can facilitate increased access to education, employment, and political participation, thereby challenging and changing societal norms and attitudes regarding gender roles. It’s crucial to recognize that empowering women does not imply superiority over men; instead, it’s about fostering equality and recognizing the valuable contributions of women to society.

From Anganwadi workers to lab technicians, women have been at the forefront of combating challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, our presence spans across 15 States and 3 Union Territories, with 3000+ centers serving rural and urban communities alike.
Our commitment remains steadfast to providing quality healthcare services at affordable prices, especially in underserved rural areas. This vision drives us forward, propelling us to reach every untouched corner and ensure access to healthcare for all, one day at a time.
